Mockus Named CEO of Coyuchi

BERKELEY, Calif.-Coyuchi has promoted Eileen Mockus to CEO and has appointed her to the board of directors.

Previously, Mockus had served as vice president of product and as a member of the interim office of the president. She has succeeded Karyn Barsa, who has left the company to pursue other endeavors.

Kevin Brine, Coyuchi's chairman, characterized Mockus as "a driving force" in developing its current product offerings, and as "a strong leader with a passion for textile design, a comprehensive knowledge of the production process and a proven record of execution."

Prior to her career with Coyuchi, Mockus worked in production, sourcing and materials-testing roles for North Face, Patagonia and Pottery Barn Kids.
