MSLO Appoints Smyth to Board

NEW YORK-Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO) has named Margaret M. Smyth to its board of directors.

Most recently, Smyth served as vice president and chief financial officer of Hamilton Sundstrand, part of United Technologies Corp. Prior to that, she was United Technologies' vice president and corporate controller. She also served in financial positions with 3M, Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen.

She is the latest of several appointments to the MSLO board. Recently, Daniel Walker, J.C. Penney's chief talent officer, and Michael Kramer, chief operating officer for J.C. Penney, joined the MSLO board as part of its strategic alliance with the department-store retailer.
