WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-More than 20 companies will be exhibiting in NY Now's Accent on Design section for the first time at the summer edition of the show, the former New York International Gift Fair.
The section is NY Now's vehicle for showcasing "cutting-edge contemporary product design," said Christian Falkenberg, NY Now's director and senior vice president of show owner and manager GLM.
Nine of the companies are new to the show as a whole, while the remaining are moving to Accent on Design from other NY Now sections. Accent on Design is also welcoming nine other companies who are returning to the show after a hiatus.
The summer NY Now will run from Aug. 17 through Aug. 21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal. Accent on Design has served as a resource of design-driven home and lifestyle products for more than 25 years.
