NY Now Adds Programs on Pier 94

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-For this summer's edition. NY Now is adding a variety of market-related programming--including seminars, events and special promotions--to the Pier 94 portion of the show.
Each morning at the pier will begin with a "Fresh Start Breakfast," and each day will end at 5 p.m. with a "Happy Hour Reception." Artisan Resource, which runs concurrently with NY Now, will also host a special opening-day reception on Aug. 16 from 6-8 p.m.
The show will also hold a multipart series of online marketing sessions, in partnership with SnapRetail!, along with a retail strategies seminar, titled "Keeping It Fresh: Tips to Engage Customers, Excite Staff and Increase Sales," on Aug. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. The SnapRetail! partnership will include 15-minute mini-seminars daily at 11 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Aug 16-19. In connection with the launch of Impulse at NY Now, a new event featuring about 100 suppliers of impulse and point-of-purchase specialty gifts and accessories, NY Now's owner and manager, Emerald Expositions, will present a limited-edition 2013 Gucci Fiat to a retailer. To be eligible to win, retailers must submit an entry form available at Pier 94 on the exhibit floor of Impulse at NY Now by Aug. 19 at noon.
