NY Now Cites Best New Products in Gourmet Housewares, Textiles

NY_Now logoNEW YORK-Four gourmet housewares supplies and five textiles companies have been named recipients of Best New Product Awards from NY Now, whose first show under the rebranded format is taking place this week.

In the housewares category, NYcruets took the Best of Show honor for its CruetModena, which combines centuries-old techniques with modern design. Other winners were Talisman Designs in the cooking category for Get Real Measuring Spoons, Corkcicle in the dining category for the Chillsner drink chiller, and Spice Ratchet for the Blossom Choco Nut Cheese grater, which creates spirals of hard cheeses, chocolates or nuts.

In textiles, the Best of Market distinction went to Couture Dreams for its Chichi Throw, which is crafted from Chichi flax and ivory linen. The other winners included Tribute Goods in the bed category for its Water-Sea Glass bedding collection, Scents and Feel in the bath category for its bath towel and hand towel in herringbone, Pom Pom at Home in the dining category for the Chloe placemat, and Pine Cone Hill in the home accessories category for the Bargello woven jute rug.

All four housewares winners and all five textiles winners automatically qualify for consideration for the NY Now Best of Home Award. The winner will be determined by an online vote at redclaydesign.com/nynow. Balloting runs through tomorrow, and the winner will be announced on Aug. 21.
