NY Now Handmade to Feature 500 Artisans

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-The Handmade section of NY Now, the rebranded New York International Gift Fair, will offer products from about 500 juried exhibitors.

Among these will be more than 40 artisans who will be exhibiting at NY Now for the first time. The section will also feature a new logo to identify American-made craft resources and a seminar series hosted by Craft Retailers & Artisans for Tomorrow (CRAFT). In addition, the third showing of Artisan Resource will run concurrently with NY Now.

With 350 limited-production vendors, Handmade Designer Maker will be located in the North section of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which is one of NY Now's venues along with Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal in New York City. Handmade Global Design, a section of 150 exhibitors from 15 countries, will be in the Javits Center's Level 4 Galleria.

NY Now is scheduled for Aug. 17-21, and will feature about 100,000 new product in more than 400 categories.
