NY Now to Host More than 400 International Suppliers

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-More than 400 international vendors, representing 60 countries, will be among the exhibitors at the summer edition of NY Now.
The show will have six international pavilions, which will include Brazil (represented by Worldwide Import/Export with 27 companies; France, represented by Ubifrance with 18 companies and Chambre Regionale de Metiers et de l'artisanat IDF with six companies; India's Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts with 30 companies; Japan's Jetro New York with 23 companies; and Malaysia's Handicraft Development Corp. with eight companies). The sixth pavilion will be Source from South Africa, with 11 companies and located in the juried Accent on Design section.
Global suppliers of handcrafted products will participate in four pavilions within the Handmade section. The Handmade Designer Maker section will have three: Chambre Regionale de Metiers et de l'artisanat IDF from France, with seven companies; Germany's Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, Messe Stuttgart with 15 companies; and British Contemporary Crafts with 19 companies. Within Handmade Global Design, Ecuador's Proecuador will have three companies.
Artisan Resource, the trade show that runs concurrent with NY Now, will have the largest number of international groups at Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal--which, along with New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, serves as the location for NY Now. The eight pavilions in Artisan Resource will include Cambodia's Cambodia High Value Silk, Ecuador's Proecuador, Ghana's Export Promotion Authority, Indonesia's Consulate General of Indonesia, Mexico's Promexico, Panama's Ministry of Trade and Industry, Peru's Peru Pavilion and Tunisa's Office National De L'artisanat Tunisien/Tunisian American Young Pavilions. Overall, Artisan Resource will present exhibitors from almost 30 countries.
