NYC & Co. Extends Welcome to NY Now

NYC & Co.NEW YORK-NYC & Co., New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, is set to welcome back the Summer NY Now, formerly known as the New York International Gift Fair.

A statement from the tourism organization said the show, which it called "the city's largest trade show," is expected to generate an estimated 27,000 hotel-room nights for the city. George Fertitta, NYC & Co.'s CEO, said, "The support of a show like the newly renamed NY Now, which brings in 35,000 market goers biannually, is crucial to the tourism industry and the city's continued economic health."

NYC & Co. and NY Now estimated that the winter show in January generated about $20.2 million for the city's economy.
