Olympic Ice Dancer O'Meara to Perform During Winter Markets

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-Ryan O'Meara, the ice dancer who competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics, will perform at Bryant Park's Citi Pond in New York City during the upcoming winter gift and textiles markets.

As part of the occasion, the New York International Gift Fair and 7 W New York, 230 Fifth Ave. and 41 Madison Ave.--the showroom sites for the Gift & Home Textiles Market Week--will provide participants in the markets VIP FastPass admission and free skate rentals at Citi Pond throughout the market period, Jan. 28-Feb. 3. O'Meara will perform with his partner, Emily Nussear, on Jan. 29 at Citi Pond.

O'Meara, who has retired from competitive ice dancing, is an interior designer and owner of Pavela Home, a design firm and showroom carrying furniture, accessories, gifts and a library of fabrics for custom design projects. Pavela Home is based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
