Protect-A-Bed Products Earn Asthma & Allergy Friendly Certification

Protect-A-Bed_2013CHICAGO-Protect-A-Bed's Allerzip Smooth Mattress and Pillow Encasements have achieved the trademarked asthma & allergy friendly certification from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA).

A Protect-A-Bed statement said the Allerzip Smooth line is the first waterproof mattress and pillow encasement to achieve this certification. James Bell, Protect-A-Bed's CEO, said, "The certification process was comprehensive and detailed scientific work, which is a testament to the thoroughness. Consumers can be very confident that the products AAFA certifies are better choices for their families."

AAFA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, advocacy and research on asthma and allergic diseases.
