Revman, Nautica Widen License Program

NEW YORK-Revman International and Nautica Apparel have signed an agreement that adds new product categories to the licensed home program introduced earlier this year.

The new agreement calls for Revman to manufacture and market Nautica-branded bath towels, bath rugs, independent sheets and beach towels. The initial agreement, announced in February, moved the Nautica license for decorative bedding and coordinating bath accessories from Welspun to Revman. It also added the Nautica name to Revman's stable of licensed brands, which also includes Laura Ashley, Marimekko, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Candice Olson, Tommy Bahama, Steve Madden and others.

The new agreement calls for Revman to begin distributing Nautica bath towels, bath rugs, independent sheeting and beach towels next spring throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. This

collection will draw its design inspiration from Nautica's sportswear collection, and will be carried in both specialty stores and department stores as well as nautica.com.

Rich Roman, Revman's president and CEO, said the new agreement gives Revman "the full complement of bed and bath products, which enables us to fully support our customers in building the complete Nautica bed and bath story."
