LIMA, Ohio—Range Kleen Manufacturing, one of the largest manufacturers of replacement range accessories, has partnered with Italian cookware company Moneta.
The Moneta line offers affordably priced, high-quality cookware lines with Italian design and heritage that complements Range Kleen’s Berndes line, which is made in Germany. Range Kleen’s partnership includes sales, marketing, warehousing, invoicing, billing and shipping of Moneta cookware in North America.
Range Kleen will initially introduce four of Moneta’s lines to the United States next year: Pro Protection Base, Nova Induction—two higher end lines—along with Greystone and Azul Gres. The cookware includes patented protection bases and new induction base technologies, along with other features.
All lines are currently in stock with Range Kleen and are ready to ship. The company will show the lines at next month’s Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and March’s International Home + Housewares Show.
“As a family-owned business, we’ve been blessed with growth and opportunity for over 44 years and our continued expansion into related product lines is the result of listening to our customers,” said Patrick O’Connor, president/owner of Range Kleen. “The growing trend of American consumers wanting and trusting legitimate European cookware brands for quality and design is fueling our launch of Moneta and expansion of Berndes.”
The line has a new website, moneta-cookware.com, as well as a social media strategy, said Dana Swearengin, director of marketing. In addition, “we are creating partner mailings for our gourmet store clients to introduce the brand once inventory hits their shelves. We have developed Try Me pieces for each line, both Berndes and Moneta, store displays and on-the-shelf consumer education pieces, as well as investment in influence marketing.”
Matt Berney, director of sales for Range Kleen, added, “In today’s market we have too many brands that have a great European brand name on the packaging of a fry pan but is made in China. Retailers and consumers want a brand that stays true to its heritage, and Moneta provides just that. Moneta has been produced in Italy since 1875 and is still made there today, now using innovative forming and coating technologies to create quality cookware at affordable price points.”
